Dear McKinley Families,

As we prepare for a well-deserved break, a reminder that Fall Break is October 5–9. School resumes Monday, October 12, and we look forward to welcoming our Eagles back refreshed, recharged, and ready to learn!
 

A Great Time to Check In

As we move through the first trimester, this is a great time to check in on your child's academic progress, attendance, and overall school experience. Talk with your child about what's going well, where they may need support, and what goals they'd like to work toward.

Our teachers have begun scheduling Parent-Teacher Conferences, and you don't need to wait to be contacted. If you have questions or concerns about your child's progress, or simply want to connect, we encourage you to reach out and schedule a conference.
 

Connect With Your Child's Teacher Through ParentSquare

ParentSquare is our primary home-school communication tool and an easy way to reach your child's teacher directly.

To contact your child's teacher:

• Open the ParentSquare app or log in to ParentSquare.
• Select Messages and choose New Message.
• Search for and select your child's teacher.
• Let the teacher know you'd like to schedule a conference or have a question about your child's progress.

If you need help accessing ParentSquare or reaching your child's teacher, please contact our school office. We're happy to help!

Working Together Makes a Difference

Parent-Teacher Conferences give families and teachers an opportunity to celebrate growth, discuss academic progress, identify areas where additional support may be needed, and establish goals for continued success.These conversations help us make sure students receive consistent encouragement and support at both school and home.

At McKinley, we believe strongly in the Home–Student–School Connection. When families, students, and staff work together, we create the strongest possible support system for our Eagles.

Nuestros maestros ya comenzaron a programar las conferencias de padres y maestros, y no hace falta que espere a que lo contacten. Si tiene preguntas o inquietudes, o simplemente quiere ponerse en contacto, lo invitamos a programar una conferencia.

ParentSquare es nuestra principal herramienta de comunicación entre el hogar y la escuela, y una forma fácil de hablar directamente con el maestro de su estudiante.

Para contactarlo:

Trabajar juntos hace la diferencia

Las conferencias les dan a las familias y a los maestros la oportunidad de celebrar los avances, platicar sobre el progreso académico, identificar dónde hace falta más apoyo y fijar metas para seguir teniendo éxito. Estas conversaciones nos ayudan a que los estudiantes reciban ánimo y apoyo constantes tanto en la escuela como en casa.

En McKinley creemos firmemente en la conexión Hogar–Estudiante–Escuela. Cuando las familias, los estudiantes y el personal trabajan juntos, creamos el sistema de apoyo más fuerte posible para nuestras Águilas.
 

Gracias por su apoyo constante y por ser una parte tan importante de nuestra comunidad. ¡Esperamos que todas nuestras Águilas y sus familias disfruten de unas vacaciones de otoño seguras, tranquilas y maravillosas!
